A little bit more about ourselves

We hate to make this all about us since we believe it’s all about you: the client. BUT, here is some basic information about ourselves and our beliefs.

We are a Northern Beaches based residential design studio specialising in the design, alteration and renovation of coastal homes while reducing the impact on the environment.

We believe every home has the potential to become your dream home and we would love nothing less than to help you unlock it.

This humble two storey brick home got a traditional glow up resulting in a timeless coastal classic including new skillion roofs, weatherboard cladding, plenty of outdoor and indoor space for entertaining and terraces soaking the water views.

This 1950’s hidden gem received a complete transformation including a new kitchen, facade renovation, front porch and rear alfresco area to create a stunning open plan living lifestyle.

Heritage cottage restoration.

Coastal style does not require being near the beaches. This simple suburban cottage has all the classic elements of a coastal home. This restoration included well deserved open plan living at the rear, new weatherboard cladding and an alfresco area with built-in BBQ for entertaining.

New Homes

Imagine your dream home becoming a reality tailored to your land, within your budget and smoothly approved by your local Council. No premade designs, limited changes, additional upgrades or revisions.

We provide architecturally designed homes for you, not for our portfolio, based on your families needs and vision.

We will create beautiful 3D renders to make sure your home and selections are exactly what you had in mind. We work with you during the whole process from concept, approval, documentation and builder selection.

Duplex Homes

How do a brand new home and an additional rental income sound? Or a brand new home and selling the other half to cover all construction costs and more? Sounds complicated, don’t worry we’ll guide you through the whole process step by step.

Duplex homes are a great way to supplement your income if you are thinking of building a new home with minimal additional cost compared to a similar size single home. The design and approval process is exactly the same as a regular home but the benefits are exponentially greater.

Renovations & Restorations

You love your home, but you know it can be so much more with a little touch-up. Don’t worry, we can help.

We can use your existing ideas or bring our own expertise to maximise the potential of your home and get you closer to your family’s dream home.

Renovations are our bread and butter so we’ll make sure they fulfil every one of your families needs, compliant with all the respective controls so they can smoothly sail through Council and start your renovation in no time.

Our Process

We like to keep things simple, so here’s the three main steps to every project regardless of their nature.

Concept Design

In this initial stage, we will develop your design or create a completely new one based on your design brief and planning controls, including photorealistic views so you can visualise your masterpiece.

Consultants & Approval

In this stage, we will document and engage everything/everyone we are going to need to have your design approved by the planning authorities. There are a couple of ways we can have this approved through Council or a Private Certifier.

Construction & Interiors

In this stage, we will document all the information your builder is going to need to deliver your project to the letter. This includes bathroom selections, kitchen design, joinery, robes, materials, finishes, electrical layouts and any bespoke detail.
